🎉 On the evening of June 12, we wrapped up an incredible week at TekStarz Summer Manufacturing Camp with a special family reception at Hytrol! 🎓✨
We celebrated 20 outstanding rising 8th graders from Nettleton, Brookland, Westside, Marion, and local homeschool programs who dove into hands-on learning and explored exciting careers in manufacturing and technology. Joining us for the experience was a counselor from Math & Science Magnet School and a Career & Tech Ed teacher from Marion School District.
The reception featured a highlight video of their camp experience and remarks by Jonesboro Unlimited Director of Workforce Development and Existing Industry Shelle Randall, JU President and CEO Mark Young, and Hytrol Manager of Academic and Philanthropic Programs Christy Valentine. Each camper was proudly presented with a certificate recognizing their completion of the program. 🙌
