Already rail-served, the Craighead Technology Park added even more planned infrastructure in 2021.
Thanks to a $2.5 million grant, a 9.6-acre rail storage yard is under construction.
The new rail facility will store up to 120 rail cars on three different spurs. The storage facility sits on the main, city-owned, short-line that feeds the Craighead Technology Park. Serving companies like Nestle, Frito-Lay, Delta Peanut, and Trinity Rail Maintenance.
