Here2Hired brings together high school seniors with local employers, allowing them to build real relationships and open doors to careers right here in the Jonesboro region. It is a way to help students connect with potential employers and find meaningful employment opportunities following graduation.
- TekStarz Summer Manufacturing Camp

For more than ten years, the TekStarz Summer Manufacturing Camp has inspired 7th and 8th-grade students to imagine careers in the many STEM fields offered by the manufacturing industry. The three-day experience is hands-on and immersive, featuring facility tours and educational projects. Local companies engage students in ways that spark their curiosity and expand their thinking about where their education and experiences can take them. In 2026, Jonesboro Unlimited passed the torch for the program to Arkansas State University-Newport at Jonesboro (ASUN-Jonesboro), ensuring the camp will continue inspiring students for years to come.

Each fall, Manufacturing Day draws students from all over the Jonesboro area. Participating students get up close and personal tours of several manufacturing/STEM companies.
- SHRM Foundation "Ready For Life Project"

It's never too early to inspire students to seek out careers in manufacturing and STEM. Jonesboro has an abundance of those careers. The SHRM Foundation "Ready for Life Project" introduces local 7th and 8th graders to these potential future careers. This pilot project includes a partnership with A-State and a strategic internship initiative.

Get to Know Jonesboro is our program for newly relocated employees to make connections and learn about their new home. This program features a day of fun and education about things that are uniquely Jonesboro, and meets in the spring and fall. We have added a program for interns who are in Jonesboro for the summer.
- Tech Talent Scholarship

The Tech Talent scholarship is awarded annually to a local high school senior who intends to pursue technical education at Arkansas State University-Newport in a targeted industry.
